Bloodhound Trumpet Wins 2022 Best in Show
Congratulations to GCHB CH Flessner’s Toot My Own Horn (Trumpet!) for winning Best in Show at the 146th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. From the WKC press release:
“This is the first time in Westminster history that a bloodhound has been awarded Best in Show. Trumpet, a 4.5-year-old male of Saint Joseph, Illinois officially known as GCHB CH Flessner’s Toot My Own Horn, is breeder-owner-handled by Heather Buehner, coowned and bred by Chris and Bryan Flessner, and Tina Kocar. Trumpet bested a field of 3,000 entered dogs to win Best in Show on Wednesday night after three days of Best of Breed, Group and Best in Show competition.”
And look what a happy boy he is!
Runner-up “Winston” won the Reserve Best in Show. This French Bulldog’s official name is GCHP CH Fox Canyon’s I Won The War At Goldshield CGCA CGCU TKN with handler Perry Payson. He’s quite the gentleman!
